"Come play with me, come play with me," would go my three and a half year old (a Masha and the Bear fan), each time I sat at my desk. Mimics Masha in her same pesky tone even now.
Sometimes, when she'd spot the coloured illustrations that Divyesh had mailed over for any particular story, the demand would be different.
"I want to see Ella," she'd try to climb on my lap "show me, show me, show me, Ella making Eddy fall..."
Writing the second book took longer than we thought. Longer to illustrate too.
But we're happy with what we have done.
And we do so hope that it would make lots of children happy, hearing it read out to them.
